Steps To A Liver & Gallbladder Flush

About The Flush

This liver and gallbladder flush is recommended by many naturopath and herbalists around the world as an overall general clean to the liver and gallbladder to help promote wellbeing. I’ve personally have done this cleanse myself over a twenty times spread over 20years, roughly about once a year. The evidence that I can see that it works is that in the morning I can physically see these green soft stones and I physically feel the benefits by the afternoon. Plus I have heard this same report from many clients, and other Naturopaths who use this cleanse.
Yet caution does need to be taken on this, as it is a very strong cleanse, so if you have any doubts at all please make sure a Nutritionist or Naturopath is supervising you to asses that it is suitable for you.

Candida Cleanse First

For best results, it is advised that you do the liver flush after having done the Candida Cleanse for a minimum of one month. The best two products I’ve come across that helps clear the candida, in the intestine and in the blood system is FiveLac and Candizolv combined.

24 Hour Strict Instructions

This detox requires you to follow strict instructions for about twenty-four hours.
Three days before you start the liver flush, drink two large glasses of sour apple juice per day. This will help stimulate the production of bile so you will have a good amount of bile in your gallbladder which will help to flush the stones out.

What You Will Need

• 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts

• ½ cup of olive oil

•  ½ cup of grapefruit juice

• 4-8 L- ornithine tablets

• Empty jam jar with lid

In The Morning

In The Morning Take four drinking glasses and fill them halfway with clean, warm water. In each glass place one level tablespoon of Epsom salts. Stir and let the Epsom salts crystals dissolve over the course of the day.

Pour half a cup of olive oil into a lidded glass jar and place in the fridge.

Until 2 PM

It is vital NOT TO  HAVE ANY FAT whatsoever during the morning or afternoon so that the bile is not used and is saved for the flush.

So from when you wake up on the day of doing the flush, up until 2 pm eat plain foods such as quinoa or millet porridge, lightly steamed vegetables or baked sweet potatoes but no oil and no butter at all. It is important to eat plenty of these foods in the morning and at lunchtime in order to keep your strength up and drink plenty of warm water to keep hydrated.

In The Afternoon From 2 pm do not eat anything at all. Keep drinking as much warm water as you like.

AT 6 PM

In The Evening At 6 pm drink one of the glasses of Epsom salts solution. Sip some warm water in between, but not too much. This will cause you to empty your bowels and have a few loose movements.

At 8 PM

At 8 pm drink another glass of the Epsom salts solution. Sip a little warm water as needed, but not too much. Again this will cause you to empty your bowels and you will have a few loose movements. The idea of this is that it will help open up the bile duct from the gallbladder to the small intestine.

At 9.30PM

At 9:30 pm, pour half a glass of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice into the glass jar of olive oil.
Take this glass jar up to bed and prepare your bed so you can be perfectly comfortable and relaxed. Take a hot water bottle if you wish. Now visit the bathroom for one last time if you need to.

At 10 PM

At 10pm shake the glass jar with the grapefruit and olive oil mix and drink. As you drink the mixture, take four to six L-Ornithine tablets (if you generally have trouble sleeping then take up to eight). This helps remove ammonia and toxins from the body and you will need an extra amount of L-Ornithine for this evening. If you don’t take L- Ornithine you may have a rough night and not sleep well.
Lie down and make sure you’re totally comfortable, that the pillows are at the perfect height and everything is easy. The more you relax and the stiller you are, the more stones will come out. Make sure you lie still and on your back. Most of the stones tend to
pass between twenty minutes to two hours after drinking the mixture so use this time wisely by really relaxing and hopefully falling asleep. You may get a feeling you want to do a poo, but this will be the stones passing through—just stay still and relax. You may want to use visualization techniques and picture the stones coming out or any relaxation techniques such as soft music in the background.

The Next Morning

The Next Morning When you get up in the morning, drink a little water and another glass of the dissolved Epsom salts and go back to bed. From now on you can drink as much water as you like to rehydrate your body and to flush the stones out of the intestines.
Two hours after the first Epsom salts of the morning, drink the last glass of Epsom salts and rest. In this time you will more than likely pass a lot of small green stones.

Congratulations

Congratulations, you have just cleansed your gallbladder.
A couple of hours after passing the gallstones, you can eat again (around 11 am). Begin with some light food like a bowl of soup or some fruit and build up slowly. Take the time to relax in the afternoon to nurture your body. By suppertime you should feel recovered; make sure you take some probiotics to replenish your friendly bacteria.
After you’ve done one flush, the stones which were stacked up behind come forward and so you may need to do two or three flushes to help clear the gallbladder of soft gallbladder stones. Then you can do this detox once a year as ongoing maintenance.
