Infrared Heat Lamp

This amino acid in fact it's the most abundant amino acid in the body. In this scientific study it concluded that L Gultamine improves the symptoms of arthritis.

Vitamin D3

Vitamin D3 – Helps regulate and control the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus by aiding in their absorption from the small intestine, and by directly affecting the rate at which these minerals form and maintain bone and teeth.

Rheumatoid arthritis tends to be worse during the winter months when people typically receive less sunlight, required for the creation of vitamin D in the skin. Vitamin D3 has been found to help people with rheumatoid arthritis because it works specifically with both the immune and skeletal systems.

A study of 1,248 elderly adults published in August 2009 in The Journal of Clinical Rheumatology found that blood levels of vitamin D related to the progression of the disease. Vitamin D levels were associated with less advanced osteoarthritis of the knee and also with higher bone mineral density.

Boswellia & Curcumin

Boswellia is also known as Indian frankincense. Boswellia has been used for centuries in Asian and Africa, to help ease inflammatory illnesses.

A joint study by Harvard Medical School and Tufts Medical Centre, Boston, followed a group of 30  patients for 48 weeks. Half were given a placebo and the other half collagen supplements. MRI scans showed that the collagen patients had ‘significant re-growth of damaged cartilage’ after a year

Collagen could also help with joint pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis. RA is an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks the joints. Some scientists think that low-dose collagen supplements can encourage the immune system to become more tolerant of its own collagen, suppressing the inflammatory response.

6. Phiten Tape

The nice thing we have found with Phiten Titanium tapes is that every-time we have put the tape onto clients sore joints, the clients have always said, it gives them instant pain relief. The downside is the tape normally stays on for about 3 to 4 days and then the underline pain comes back , sometimes a little less or the same as before.

What we have found is that when people have been in  pain for a long time, that instant pain relief is more than welcome, and by applying the other tips here to help deal with deeper issues of joint pain it works well. For some people with less chronic joint pain this alone makes a huge difference. Out of all the different types of tape from Phiten we have found the blue one is the best because it is more waterproof and stays on for a lot longer time than the other ones.

7.Magnesium Baths

Epsom salts are rich in magnesium and Epsom salt baths are a old fashioned remedy for easing joint pain.  You can add  1 cup of Epsom salts to a hot bath, and soak for at least 20 minutes once or twice a week.

If your buying Epsom Salt, the best buy is to  get it in bulk and do not go for the fancy packets, the key ingredient is the epsom salt.

Nutritional guidelines

Their is plenty of anecdotal evidence that links nightshades vegetables to worsening of arthritis symptoms, but there’s little on the scientific side to support this. We have found that some of clients say that it does make a difference leaving nightshade vegetables out and others say it does make any difference. Our recommendation if you do have arthritis is to leave these foods out for one month and when you do choose to reintroduce them notice the effects.
 Common nightshade vegetables
  • white potatoes.
  • tomatoes.
  • eggplant.
  • bell peppers.
  • paprika.

Other foods that may be causing an issue and are worth considering leaving out for a short period of time around 4 weeks for an elimination diet,would be wheat, diary and processed foods, and then when you re-introduce them notice the effects. Everybody is completely different in what different foods affect each person. Yet these foods often come up, sometimes it is not so much the food rather the chemicals sprayed onto the food that is causing the issue. So sometimes switching from a non organic wheat to an organic sprouted wheat can make all the difference. This is when listening to your body's whispers comes into place, and listening to your bodies reaction.

9.Beneficial Probiotics

A healthy gut flora helps reduce inflammation. Certain aspects of proteus mirabilis, an organism implicated in arthritis, resemble the synovial fluid in our joints. If proteus overgrows in the intestine and invade the intestinal wall, the antibodies attempting to attack it will inadvertently attack the joints as well. Another bacteria, Klebsiella pneumoniae, has been linked to alkylosing spondylitis, a severe form of arthritis that affects the spine. What’s more, there have been reports that certain intestinal bacteria can relocate to the joints and possibly add to the cause of joint pain.

10.Reducing Stress

Reducing stress is obvious to helping with pretty much any health condition, yet we see to many clients that are stuck in stress patterns, that their fight and flight nervous system is switched on morning to night.

A simply free solution we have come across for this is.

Starting your day with hot and cold showers, and building up to 1 minute cold and then having as much hot as you like and repeating this 2 or 3 times.

Then have a nice cup of tea and then get comfortable laying down or sitting up and spend about 10 minutes or so doing this very effective breathing technique from Wim Hoff , here is the video for you...
