What Is An AutoImmune Disease ?
When someone has an autoimmune disease their body's immune system which normally protects them from disease and infection. Seems to work against them, their own immune system attacks healthy cells in your body by mistake.
Sadly autoimmune diseases are on the increase.The report from Connect Immune Research, a group of medical research charities, shows that many autoimmune conditions are becoming more common, with some increasing in incidence by as much as 9% each year. Science does not know yet the cause of an autoimmune disease.

At The Ozone Spa, one of the services we offer is a medical scientific standard intolerance test. There was a clinical trial, published in GUT, a medical journal, focused on diagnosed sufferers of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. This study was designed and carried out by the University Hospital of South Manchester and 150 outpatients with IBS participated in the trial. The patients took the YorkTest food-specific IgG antibody test and then undertook an elimination diet based on the results of the test.
Patients were split into two groups at random. The first group received a diet based on their YorkTest blood test results – eliminating the foods that caused them a problem. The second group received a dummy diet, eliminating foods to which they were not sensitive. The trial followed patients for three months and the severity of symptoms were recorded.
The trial showed that the elimination diet based on the true results was “significantly more effective” and those patients saw a “clinically significant improvement” in their IBS.

Your Intestine is classed as your second brain. Having a healthy Intestine goes hand in hand with having a healthy microbiome, which means their is a wide spectrum healthy good bacteria coexisting in your intestine.

L-glutamine can strengthen immune cell activity in the intestine, helping prevent infection and inflammation, as well as soothing the intestinal tissue. Because L-glutamine is used for energy production, it can support the reduction of intestinal spasms.
Astragulus / Ashwagandha
Both these herbs work in very similar ways. What Tony found is that when he had a flare up, his energy levels where very up and down, and when he made a cup of tea with either of these herbs, very quickly he noticed his energy levels balance out.
